Senator Cory Booker had a full-fledged meltdown during Mike Pompeo’s confirmation hearings this week; asking the potential Secretary of State his opinions on everything ranging from Islam to same-sex marriage.

“Cory Booker is saying, ‘Are you trying to tell me that Muslims have some special place in preventing Islamic terrorism?’ The answer is yes,” said Buck Sexton.

“Any Muslim who is in a leadership position in a community where there are some radicals, or any Muslim who happens to know someone who’s been radicalized… Yes, they’re in a better position to try and do something about it,” he added.

“The left will go to the mat -not just in favor of the civil rights of Muslim Americans- to make sure that no one says anything that’s even too terse about Islamists, people that believe in Sharia,” Sexton said. “Whenever you try and talk about it they want to shout you down and label you a bigot and Islamophobe.”
