While the mainstream media and liberal Democrats continue to call President Trump “crazy” and “unstable” over his comments regarding North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, the President of South Korea says Trump “deserves a lot of credit” in forcing the communist regime back to the negotiating table.
“We’ve been told by the press for a while that Trump’s approach to North Korea and Kim Jong Un specifically is antagonistic and could lead to nuclear war,” said Buck Sexton. “Here we are, you have the President of South Korea saying that ‘Trump deserves big credit’ for kicking off the first talks between Pyongyang and Seoul in more than two years.”
“This could be a North Korean ploy, but this is also the first time in two years that there’s been any real talk between North and South Korea, and it happens to be occurring right after a series of decisions by the Trump administration to implement powerful sanctions against North Korea,” he added.
“When you’re talking about a regime like North Korea where the cult of personality is absolute and absolutist… that somebody would challenge him so directly in this way we’ve been told will only result in heightened chance of a nuclear war,” Sexton said.
“We’ve been told you can’t hit back at the bully… Meanwhile you’ve got the President of South Korea who’s saying that President Trump deserves a lot of credit for taking action, for doing something, for forcing North Korea’s hand,” he added.
