National radio host Buck Sexton weighed-in on the never-ending Trump-Russia conspiracy investigation on Thursday, saying liberal legislators were simply reviewing the same material over and over again to keep the probe alive.
“I just want to know at what point are we allowed to start thinking that maybe we’re just going over the same things here because maybe spending time on it is damaging to the administration,” said Buck.
“At what point are we going to realize that the legal bills that people tied to Trump and people in his administration, the legal bills that they face are gigantic,” he added. “I do know that a good legal team is going to be very, very expensive… This is not just politicized, but is in fact a political investigation.”
“They’re looking for a political crime, not an actual statutory federal crime with regard to Trump and his top advisors,” Sexton said. “We’re seeing more clearly now than ever that the process is the punishment. The reason that the Democrats are so enthusiastic about this whole investigation is that –no matter what- it is damaging to Trump.”
“This is not something that’s going to stop any time soon. The propagation of the investigation is the main goal of the investigation. Make it as painful as possible,” he added.
