National radio host Buck Sexton weighed-in on President Trump’s recent decision to deploy the American military along the United States’ southern border with Mexico; saying it’s “crazy” that we have lows that allow Central Americans to arrive on US soil and simply claim amnesty.

“It’s crazy that this is what the law currently is for migrants from Central America, they can just show up and claim asylum. But that is the law. That the Republican-controlled Congress has done nothing to change that… how much more frustration can we manage before we decide we’re just wasting our time,” said Buck.

“What’s the point in voting for Republicans if this is the situation we’re going to be in. There’s only so much that the President will be able to do,” he added. “It’s not just Trump who’s opposed to this situation, but even libertarian Rand Paul had to wade in earlier.”

“Who’s really in charge? Who’s supposed to be making the call here about what to do. There’s a huge opportunity being missed right now… Democrats should be asked one after the other, ‘What do you think about this?’” said Sexton.
