Speaking on ‘America Now’ on Monday, host Buck Sexton called out Jimmy Kimmel and other late-night comedians for taking their marching orders directly from Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and the DNC; saying the liberal entertainers were de facto ‘propagandists’ for democratic lawmakers.
“Now we have late-night comedians who are straight-up mouth-pieces, are just megaphones, they are propagandists for Democrat politicians,” said Buck. “This is as clear as can be. Jimmy Kimmel is getting his information for his monologues and other stuff. He is a de facto functionary of the DNC, of Chuck Schumer, of Nancy Pelosi.”
Buck slammed the liberal entertainers for using comedy as both “sword and shield,” attacking GOP lawmakers under the guise of jokes and monologues.
“‘I’m just a comedian. Let me make fun of all those dumb Republicans who want to do something about healthcare, who hate poor people, and hate minorities.’ Wait that’s not true, they’re actually trying to make the healthcare system better for everybody because Obamacare stinks,” said Sexton.
“That’s the game, it is both sword and shield. They use it to attack, they use it for defense. ‘I’m a comedian, I’m a comedian.’ Clown-nose on, clown-nose off. Which is it going to be Kimmel? Is the clown-nose on? Are you making us laugh or are we supposed to listen to your stories about healthcare in this country?” he asked.
“How surprised are you? I’m guessing not all that surprised that you have comedians who are taking their marching orders from Democrats. How big do you think [Kimmel’s] writing and production team is? They need Chuck Schumer’s office to give them help? A little suspicious,” said Buck.
