Speaking on ‘America Now’ Thursday night, Buck Sexton ripped the mainstream media for pretending there isn’t a pattern behind ISIS-inspired terror attacks; saying it hurts the public’s “trust” in the press when they intentionally conceal information from the American people.
“Back to the left being just delusional and foolish when it comes to the way they talk about terrorism and specifically a terrorist incident like this, that involves a young male Muslim, aged 25 to 45, with a big beard who is an immigrant to this country who yelled ‘Allahu Akbar,’” said Buck.
“They go down this list of things that makes this a story they don’t want to talk about. This does not make them happy to relay the details of it,” he added, pointing out the various news outlets that reluctantly reported the identity of the man behind Tuesday’s deadly attack in New York City.
“Why would you hold that back? If somebody knows something then it should come forward,” Sexton said. “This hurts trust in our media, when they think that we can’t handle the details about what’s true about a specific incident. It would just be a little too difficult for people to hear what’s going on.”
“This is why when Trump says things like, ‘I hope he fries’ or ‘We’re going to be tough’ it resonates, because we’re sick of all the pretense from the left that says, ‘There’s nothing to see here in terms of any pattern, it has nothing to do with Islam, the real problem is Islamophobia,’” said Buck.
“It’s not good to have 90% of the media dominated by leftist Democrats. It’s not helpful to people and certainly not good to have so much crappy counter-terrorism analysis,” he added.
