Speaking on ‘America Now’ Friday night, host Buck Sexton weighed-in on the mainstream media’s desperate attempts to spin Hillary’s ‘Trump Dossier’ scandal; saying liberal journalists will simply “go through the motions” without disturbing their coveted Russia-Trump narrative.
“The Fusion GPS story, I can tell for the first time in a long time I think they realize that there’s no obvious way that they can just sweep this aside,” said Buck. “That Hillary funding this thing, saying ‘We didn’t know about this, millions of dollars that were spent.’ It is so not-believable that there was no problem here.”
“The media’s put in this place saying, ‘We’re not going to cover this because this isn’t a story,’ that’s not going to fly,” he added.
Buck went on to praise former CIA director Leon Panetta’s calls for a Congressional investigation into Hillary’s ties to Fusion GPS and her role in the Uranium One deal.
“Former CIA director Leon Panetta he’s a Democrat, but he’s not a hardline partisan,” Sexton said. “He’ll call balls and strikes, we shouldn’t pretend that every prominent Democrat with a voice in the media is just a constant leftie.”
“Panetta’s saying they’re going to have to look into this. Now it’s going to become an issue of how they go through the motions without making sure it doesn’t rattle this overarching storyline of Russia-Trump collusion too much; it’s not going to be too easy,” he added.
