Speaking on ‘America Now’ Tuesday night, host Buck Sexton warned listeners that progressives in the United States will blame this week’s deadly terror attack in New York City on President Trump; saying they “will find some way” to pin the massacre on the Commander-in-Chief.
“I’ve seen this before. I was over at CNN after the Nice [France] attack when a bunch of imbeciles pretending to be experts said, ‘This is because Europe doesn’t do a good enough job with its immigrants.’ There were 80 people murdered on Bastille Day… This is what they were saying on the day of the attack,” said Buck.
“I don’t think I’m way off here by suggesting that it’s very likely they will try and find some way to make this about Trump, and that Trump is somehow the problem. I know it’s almost unthinkable right now that anybody would do this, but trust me,” he added.
“They were hoping to take this Manafort indictment and run with that all week, and all about the Russia collusion,” Sexton said. “Now we have to deal with the reality of a terrorist attack in the biggest city in this country that has been hit time and time again.”
“Our Commander-in-Chief right now is the one’s who’s saying, ‘Maybe we should look at limiting in specific and smart ways the importation of those who come from areas that are rife with radicalism,’” said Buck. “They do not want you to take that away from all this.”
