CLASH OF CLOWNS: GOP Senators ‘Bravely’ Whine About Trump’s Tweets

Buck Sexton unloaded on Congressional Republicans on ‘America Now’ Tuesday night, calling-out Senators Flake and Corker after they “bravely” attacked President Trump but offered no solutions other than complaining about the President’s tweets.
“Let’s get into the clash of clowns inside Congress. You’ve got a lot of back-and-forth between the GOP ranks right now,” said Buck. “We’ve got a couple of Republicans that are coming out hard against the President. One of them just said today, ‘You know what? I’m not going to run again.’ A lot of GOP officials are very brave when they don’t really have a career anymore that they’re trying to protect.”
“We have Corker, we have Flake, we have these people who are standing up for ‘civility.’ I just have to wonder: Where were they during eight years of the Obama administration? Did you ever see Flake or Corker’s name next to a flame-thrower bombshell quote about Obamacare?” asked Sexton.
“Or about President Obama’s unconstitutional overreaches? Or his disintegration of the separation of powers?” he added.
“We have all these different members of Congress. They talk about the need for civility. They speak about this as service, and yet, the most that some of them can offer up is to say they don’t like Trump’s tweets,” said Buck.
