CULTURE WAR: ‘Gun Control’ Is the Next Fight in the Media’s CRUSADE Against Conservatives

National radio host Buck Sexton weighed-in on the media’s ongoing obsession with gun control and the National Rifle Association Tuesday night, saying liberals were using the issue as the next platform in their never-ending “culture war” against conservatives.
“There seems to be a growing movement right now for an assault weapons ban. A ban on the AR-15 specifically, and we’re not sure how far this is going to go,” said Buck. “The last time there was a discussion similar to what we have going on now in the country was after the Sandy Hook shooting […] Something is very different now.”
“Guns are a stand-in for the culture war, the tribalism of left and right in this country. For so many on the left, being an idiot when it comes to guns […] you can still get paid millions of dollars to go on TV and be a news anchor, that’s because of the separation that exists based on guns,” he added.
“Guns are a marker of one’s politics, one’s view of government, more than just firearms and the tool that they are,” Sexton said. “We’re at this point where the Trump administration is willing to listen to different policy proposals, and is in fact even pushing for some.”
