LISTEN: Dinesh D’Souza Joins Buck To Discuss His New Book “The Big Lie”

Author and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza joined Buck Sexton to discuss his latest book “The Big Lie: Exposing the Nazi Roots of the American Left.” As the title implies, D’Souza draws the historical connections between Germany’s Nazi Party and the American left, particularly early 20th century progressivism.
“A good deal of the book is ‘secret history’ that is indisputably true, with records to substantiate it,” D’Souza explained to Buck.
In the book, D’Souza explains that both Mussolini and Hitler were admirers of the American progressive movement and its platform, including its belief in government expansion and control.
“In the 1930’s, if you look at the Nazi newspaper–which was called Völkischer Beobachter–it was full of praise for the new deal and FDR,” D’Souza told Buck. “Fascism is a form of socialism and the Fascists from Germany and Italy looked across the Atlantic and saw the new deal moving in the direction of greater centralized power, greater federal control, and they loved it. That’s what they were doing in their countries.”
“Fascism, socialism, progressivism, these are all sister movements on the political left,” D’Souza added.
At the very least, Dinesh’s latest effort should raise the ire of those on the left.
