Today Republicans tweaked their healthcare legislation in what appears to be a reinstatement of a penalty on individuals for allowing coverage to lapse.
The Trump administration has been handed a victory, albeit a temporary one, by the Supreme Court, which agreed to lift many key provisions of the revised travel ban, promising a full hearing of the ban's constitutionality in the fall.
Trinity Lutheran, a preschool and daycare organization, succeeded in arguing that they should not be disallowed from receiving state funds that normally go to nonprofits because of their religious affiliation. In this case, the funds were in fact for tires used to soften the floor of playgrounds.
