After replacement legislation went toes-up last night, Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell announced a move to Plan B, which many conservative Republicans have supported for some time: repeal now, replace later.
“We hope to issue this week a new directive on asset forfeiture — especially for drug traffickers,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a speech to the National District Attorney’s Association in Minneapolis. “With care and professionalism, we plan to develop policies to increase forfeitures.”
