TOWN HALL DISASTER: CNN’S Anti-Gun ‘SHOW TRIAL’ Goes Off the Rails

National radio host Buck Sexton weighed-in on CNN’s “gun control show trial” Thursday night, slamming the network for engaging in meaningless “political theater” on the backs of traumatized students.
“It was a gun control show trial. It was the worst kind of media political theater, people assembled were rude and nasty, they even at one point called the [NRA spokesperson] a murderer. How is the spokesperson for a group that represents five million Second Amendment supporters a murderer?” asked Buck.
“It defies logic and sense and reason. It’s a slander and yet if you watch what happened, you’ll see it was really instructive. It is something that’s important for us to see. The way this goes it pretty straightforward,” he added. “It quickly goes from ‘be reasonable’ and ‘let’s talk’ to ‘We want to ban guns and you better agree with us or else you’re for child murder.’ It happens every time.”
“The only difference this time is that the media has students to be the vanguard of all of this. The student movement that gives them some degree of protection from criticism. That’s the whole reason the mainstream media puts them forward,” Sexton said.
