Joe Biden’s campaign had a very clear mission this election and that was to keep trying to present the lifelong politician as the moderate adult in the room that will bring America back to its former, post-Trump glory.
But Buck Sexton, the host of the “Buck Sexton Show,” said the election season proved that the entire Democratic Party is now exclusively the party of coastal elites that cares nothing about the average American worker and is solely focused on obtaining power through any means necessary.
“The Democrat party is controlled by people who don’t care about working-class people, aren’t working-class people and want to do whatever they can to make sure that they don’t suffer from any social maladies that they inflict on working-class people,” Sexton said. He pointed to their efforts to defund the police and unrestricted illegal immigration.
“They want to make sure that they get to live in very wealthy enclaves, watch CNN or MSNBC at night and think that they’re good people because they care so much about the poor,” he continued.
Biden’s election victory hinges on several factors: Will suburban women really turn their backs on Trump? Can he reclaim Wisconsin, Michigan and Florida? And a lot of his success there will be determined by how effectively he can appeal to the middle class.
He bills himself as humble Joe from Scranton, Pa., but recent allegations against Hunter Biden about influence peddling could be problematic for the lifelong politician. Sexton said Democrats have shown the ability to sway minority voters into believing that Republicans are racist.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., has been promoting this tactic. She was called out for wearing thousands in designer clothing for a Vanity Fair photoshoot and responded, “Republicans are Very Mad (again) about my appearance. This time they’re mad that I look good in borrowed clothes (again). Listen, if Republicans want pointers on looking your best, I’m happy to share. Tip #1: Drink water and don’t be racist.”
President Trump has benefited from black Americans who’ve come out this year praise the president for his work on criminal justice reform black unemployment. Many of these voters look at their communities and wonder aloud what Democrats have done for them over the past decades.
“It’s really quite ironic that the Biden campaign slogan is ‘Build it Back Better’ because like so many things you see from Democrats they’re telling you the exact opposite of what the truth will be. They’re not going to build it back better. They’re going to take more from you and give it to other people and then make sure that they get their vote in the process. And that’s all that matters.”
