‘Resign You Disgusting Monster’: Two More Aides Accuse Cuomo

Two more former aides, Karen Hinton and Anna Liss alleged sexual misconduct against New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on Saturday.

Karen Hinton, a former press aide described in an interview with Washington Post how Cuomo summoned her to his “dimly lit” hotel room and embraced her twice after a work event in 2000. She said that she tried to pull away from him and when Cuomo pulled her back toward his body, holding her in embrace before she backed out of the room.

Anna Liss, a former policy aide said that Cuomo asked her if she had a boyfriend, touched her on her lower back and kissed her hand as she rose from her desk. She also described how she felt diminished. Liss said it diminished her from an educated professional to “just a skirt.” “It’s not appropriate, really, in any setting,” she said.

Lindsey Boylan, the first woman who accused Cuomo of sexual misconduct, tweeted her support for Anna Liss, saying she is “very proud” of her for coming forward.

“I am very proud of Ana Liss. She is brave and she speaks for me too,” she wrote on Twitter. “‘I just wish—I wish that ⁦@NYGovCuomo⁩ took me seriously,’ she said. It’s extremely destructive that our boss, the governor of New York, treated us this way.”
