Former CIA analyst and national radio host Buck Sexton stopped-by Fox News this week to weigh-in on the current terror threats facing the US and Europe as the holiday season approaches; saying ISIS may be planning attacks on “high-profile” targets in Germany and beyond.
“New York City terror attack suspect Sayfullo Saipov has been indicted,” said Fox News’ Eric Shawn. “Saipov is now charged with driving over that bike lane in New York City near the World Trade Center.”
“Buck, this was right out of the ISIS handbook say authorities. And now there’s another potential plot broken up in Berlin, using a truck or a car just like this?” he asked.
“It seems as though there was an effort underway with possible ISIS members –not ISIS-inspired individuals- to engage in what would have been largely a repeat of a plot that was brought to fruition last year,” said Buck.
“It looks like that was once again the method of operation the terrorists were choosing. They were surveilling targets, including specifically Christmas markets,” he added.
“They’re have been posters and other propaganda out there about possibly attacking the Vatican, the Pope has come into this and other high-profile targets and individuals. There’s certainly an elevated threat right now while the charges are being leveled against Saipov,” said Sexton.
