Speaking on ‘America Now’ Thursday night, host Buck Sexton weighed-in on the widening scandal surrounding Hillary Clinton and her ties to Russia; saying the Democratic Party will soon face a day of “reckoning” when the FBI informant at the heart of the Uranium One controversy testifies before Congress.
“The informant who was gagged by the non-disclosure agreement, that is now over with. He will be able to testify, and he will be able to testify before Congress,” said Buck. “That’s going to be some high-octane, intense testimony before Congress.”
“I have a feeling there are a lot of folks in the former Obama administration […] that don’t want it to be known that the FBI didn’t think the American people had any right to know about these efforts by the Russians to corrupt our nuclear energy sector,” he added.
“Also, to gain influence at the top levels of government, including Secretary of State who was Hillary Clinton,” Sexton said.
“This is just what’s been uncovered. It’s been uncovered despite the fact that 90% of the press would rather it not have been uncovered,” said Buck. “90% of the press has tried to take Trump down and find everything they can about Russia. 90% of the press doesn’t’ want any bad stuff coming out about Hillary or the Obama administration.”
“This will be a reckoning for the Democrats when this testimony happens before Congress,” he added.
