As federal investigators of Sunday night’s mass shooting in Las Vegas continue searching for answers, ‘America Now’ host Buck Sexton commented on the devastating attack that left 59 people dead; saying the motives behind the rampage “just don’t add up.”
“I don’t know what to make of it other than it struck me,” said Buck. “I can’t say that I have been able to synthesize this. I don’t have a motive, I don’t know where this goes in terms of how this attack was put together. Are some people lying? Is his family lying about him not being a gun guy […] I don’t know.
“We do not have a guy running around yelling ‘Allahu Akbar’ as he shoots innocent bystanders and stabs people with a knife,” said Sexton. “We don’t have, ‘Oh yeah, he was a weird guy muttering to himself in the corner talking about getting even and dropped off the grid for a while.’”
“We don’t have any of that. We have a guy by all accounts seemed to be pretty well-off, seemed to be from outside appearances normal, and went through tremendous lengths to kill as many innocent people as possible for no discernible reason,” he added.
“This doesn’t add up. It just doesn’t add up yet,” said Buck. “It’s scary. I wasn’t there but I very well could have been.”
“This could have been any of us, any of you listening anywhere. At a concert, it shakes us all up,” he added.
