Radio host Buck Sexton weighed-in on the ongoing controversy surrounding Democratic Senator Al Franken and Alabama Judge Roy Moore, pointing out there is a key difference between the two sex scandals: One has a photo.
Sexton called-out liberal politicians and media pundits on ‘America Now’ this week, ripping hosts like Joy Behar who are desperately trying to pin the Franken allegations on Republicans and President Trump.
“’What about Trump?’ Joy Behar just comes in there right away. ‘Republicans, what about them?’” said Buck. “There’s an important distinction about what happened here… that is there’s a photo. Some people deny it because they didn’t do it. Maybe they have a different explanation for it because they remembered it differently.”
“We’re in this environment now where everything is being so hyper-scrutinized that that’s also a component of it,” he added. “But with Franken, there’s a photo, and the photo is indefensible and it’s gross. So, he’s apologizing, but what else is he going to do? Say it’s a doctored photo? Pull an Anthony Weiner and say he got hacked?”
“Apologizing when you’re caught, when you’re nailed, when there’s no way around it, you don’t get points for that. I think it’s just what other choice did you have?” asked Buck.
