Speaking on his national radio program Monday, host Buck Sexton ripped Obama administration officials for failing to “raise the alarm” over Russian influence in the US nuclear energy sector; adding that something very “fishy” was going on between the Kremlin and Clintons ahead of the controversial Uranium One deal.
“At a minimum, it is clear that the previous administration could have -and should have- raised alarms about Russian interference and corruption,” said Buck. “The Obama administration could have raised the alarm about it, but did not.”
“At first glance, when you go through all the facts of this… the more you look into this the more clear it is that something very fishy was going on. It was ‘stinky fish’ with Russia and our nuclear sector,” he added.
“We are seeing reports about $100,000 spent on Facebook ads as though they changed the election, and the same people that are outraged in the media […] seem to yawn, they could care less, about how Bill Clinton was getting paid a half a million dollars to give a speech nobody remembered and nobody cared about,” Sexton said.
“How many half-million dollar speeches do you think Bill Clinton gave this year now that his wife lost? I’m going to guess not very many,” he added. “They already shut down the Clinton Global Initiative right after the election.”
“No one’s going to give that money anymore, because that was a way for countries all over the world to buy influence with the Clintons,” said Buck.
