President Trump’s historic meeting with Kim Jong Un is set to take place June 12th in Singapore; with both nation’s rapidly preparing for a “wild card” summit where nearly anything could take place.
“The North Korea summit is looking like it’s going to be a wild card. No one really knows. If it’s a success it will be the beginning of a much larger conversation, it will go on for quite some time,” said Buck Sexton.
“Imagine if we reached a point where there was a real reunification? You’d have to have a ‘Truth and Reconciliation’ style committee about what happened in North Korea. I don’t even know if that would be possible,” he added.
“We know very little about what goes on day-to-day in that country. We have almost no media coverage,” Sexton said. “There’s a fascinating aspect to it to: It’s the only truly totalitarian society on the planet. Top-to-bottom, 1984 Orwellian totalitarianism,” said Sexton.
