WATCH: Buck Says Botched NYC Terror Attack is ‘Realistically’ Impossible to Prevent
Posted On 11 Dec 2017 /
Buck Sexton stopped-by Fox News earlier Monday to comment on the botched, suicide attack that took place in New York City’s Port Authority Bus Terminal, saying very little could be “done realistically” to prevent these types of terror incidents.
Sexton was speaking with Fox News’ Bill Hemmer just moments after an ISIS-inspired terrorist attempted to detonate a concealed pipe bomb during one of the nation’s busiest rush hour commutes.
The 27-year old, identified by the New York Post as Akayed Ullah, allegedly possessed a five-inch pipe bomb strapped to his torso.
“Very little that can be done here realistically, against a soft-target like Port Authority Bus Terminal,” said Buck. “It also is in the environs of Times Square, so this is a choke-point for all of New York City.”
“People are coming and going in huge numbers, and therefor it poses both a tremendous security challenge as well as is a very sizable target,” he added.
