National radio host Buck Sexton weighed-in on the attempted suicide-attack that rocked New York City’s Port Authority Bus Terminal on Monday, saying the terrorist’s “incompetence” was a key factor in his botched assault on Big Apple commuters during the nation’s busiest rush hour.
Sexton was speaking with Fox Business’ Stuart Varney when he was asked to comment on why the ISIS-inspired jihadist failed to create more devastation during his early morning attack.
“You can make a minor mistake. You can have an ‘own goal’ and kill yourself. That’s what happened in Barcelona before the vehicle attack. There was an ‘own goal’ on their bomb-making factory in an abandoned house,” said Buck.
“In this instance, it’s putting a suicide-vest on that’s based on a pipe-bomb, it’s a crude device. His body, as we saw from the video, absorbs a lot of the blast. People that know more about these things might have constructed the device differently, thankfully he did not know more, so no one is dead this morning,” he added.
“One of the single most important factors when we’re dealing with terrorism is the incompetence of the terrorists, absolutely true,” Sexton said.
