Buck Sexton stopped by the Fox Business Network on Wednesday, saying the United States is more likely to accept a nuclear-armed North Korea than risk all-out war in the region; adding the US is going to “learn to live” with Kim’s advanced weapons program.
“The notion -forwarded by Lindsey Graham- that we are now heading to war, I think it’s wrong,” Buck told Fox Business Network’s Kennedy.
“There’s a few steps […] People say ‘China, Russia, they’ll cut down on economic activity in the region.’ No matter how much they try, there’s still black-market economics,” he added.
“The North Koreans have been preparing for this for a very long time. They’ve already been ostracized from the international community and from the economic ties of it for a long time. We don’t have that much more we can do,” Sexton said.
“I think what ends up happening here is […] that we learn to live with a North Korea that gets to the stage of its nuclear weapons development that we said would be completely unacceptable,” said Buck.
